L'association des Chemins de Fer du Creusot préserve en état de fonctionnement la locomotive à vapeur 241P17. Le 14 juin 2015, la machine la plus puissante d'Europe a tracté le Franche Comté Express entre Le Creusot et Belfort via Dijon et Besançon. Dans la capitale comtoise, une partie des voyageurs ont pu effectuer une croisière sur le Doubs, tandis que d'autres faisaient l'aller retour Besançon Belfort.
